Three years of paying hospitals on time. And one promise we don't break.
We're a Nigerian HMO built by doctors and underwriters who got tired of the same broken story. This is who we are, who runs it, and what we won't compromise on.
Built in Port Harcourt, for Nigerians, by Nigerians.
veoHMO was founded in 2023 by a group of Nigerian doctors and insurance veterans who were tired of the same broken story — members paying premiums for years, then being turned away at the hospital counter because the HMO hadn't paid the hospital in months.
We started with one promise: hospitals get paid within 7 days, every time. That promise has turned into a 750-hospital network and a growing 500-member family across 27 states and the FCT.
Today we cover families in Lagos and oil workers in Bonny, civil servants in Abuja and tech teams in Yaba, market traders in Kano and university students in Nsukka. The promise hasn't changed.
Three years. One promise.

Four rules we don't break.
Pay the hospital first
If providers don't get paid on time, members don't get seen. We pay within 7 days, always.
Speak plainly
No jargon. No 'pre-authorisation pathway exclusions.' If a human can't say it, we won't write it.
Answer the phone
A real person, in Nigeria, on the first ring. No menus longer than the call itself.
